Ski Resorts: Le Grand Bornand

Description:

Le Grand Bornand is nestled at the foot of the Aravis mountain chain, it is a mountain village in harmony with its environment and a ski station which offers all forms of slide sports in a natural beauty spot. The alpine ski resorts are accessible from the village of Le Grand-Bornand (altitude 1000 m) or Le Grand-Bornand Chinaillon (altitude 1300 m), and are linked at Mont Lachat (altitude 2100 m). The Bouchet valley is a favourite place for cross country skiing with a slope which joins up with Les Confins. Meanwhile a more athletic circuit is situated next to the characteristically old village of Chinaillon.
