Description:
Maison Shanti is situated above the tranquil village of Doussard, at the south end of Lac d'Annecy, overlooking lake and mountains and offering a superb base to explore a wide range of outdoor activities or just to relax. It is only a few minutes from the shores of the Lake and numerous sights are just a stones throw away, with old churches, chateaux, and historic buildings in the mountains around the lake.
Maison Shanti is a chalet style house on one level with a 1500 m2 private garden, landscaped with fruit trees, electric gate, driveway with additional parking and garage. The house has a large terrace with outdoor furniture and a BBQ for outdoor eating and entertaining. The location is very quiet and secure for children to play within the garden area. The secure garage is next to the house, accessible from the driveway, equipped with a washing machine offering plenty of storage space for outdoor- and sports equipment
The village of Doussard offers a well-stocked supermarket, charcuterie, baker, a bank, a tabac, Auberge de Marie and Bar des Quatre Chemins, all within walking distance from Maison Shanti.
Maison Shanti is convenient by car for the old town of Annecy itself, with its picturesque canals, buzzing restaurants, stylish bars and relaxed shopping. The house is also only a short car ride away from skiing, including resorts like La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand, Les Saisies, Crest-Voland and Megève. Albertville, Chamonix and Mont Blanc are all reachable by car.
